The iPad version has a built-in eraser, the Mac OS version doesn't. You could still accomplish it by selecting the object with the delete key on Mac.

Resizing selected element is already supported, please give it another try. Rotation could be supported in future releases.

Yes, it's indeed a bug which we intend to fix in the coming releases.
The short term workaround is simply cut and paste object (select object and long press) to re-arranging the order until we officially fix the bug.

Yes. It's indeed a bug on Mac OS 10.7.x. We have fixed it and submitted a new version. It should be available on App Store in a couple of days.
It cause of the issue is an API inconsistency between 10.7 and 10.8, we were not aware the existence of inconsistency between the two.
